Admittedly, this was one heck of a sore spot for me. The ability to create a "sub navigation" in Presenter 6 (including Breeze 5.1) was a fantastic way to subtly create a visual sense of organized content. What does that mean? Instead of having a running list of slide titles in the Outline tab, I figured out long ago that simply by adding spaces (using your spacebar) in the Slide Properties dialog box, you could EASILY create indented titles....and that helped create what I called "chapterization" of slide content. The net result looked something like this: slide 1 slide 1a slide 1b slide 1c slide 2 slide 3 ...and so on. That workaround came to a screeching halt with Presenter 7. And that was a MAJOR bummer. So much so, that some folks reported uninstalling P7 to go back to P6. Kinda unfortunate, given some of the newer features in P7. Okay, so here comes the workaround in P7...actually, it's more of a hack, but it works: First, this whole process has to take place AFTER you publish your PPT content. From the data folder of your published deck, open the viewer.xml doc using Notepad. Next comes the tedious part. Find the <slideTitle> nodes of any slides you want to effect and add some spaces just before the title, so the difference between the before and after looks like this: <slideTitle>This is my slide</slideTitle> <slideTitle> This is my slide</slideTitle> If you save the viewer.xml doc and re-run the course, you'll end up with indented slides in your Outline panel! Granted, it can be a lot of work...which is why I'd also recommend saving the viewer.xml doc in case you find yourself having to republish your work. Another caveat: if you have to update slide content in your PPT deck, backing up the viewer.xml won't help; afterall, you'd be in a situation where you have newer material, so this process would force you into redoing the necessary <slideTitle> nodes. Wish there was an easier solution, but this is the only thing that I've found that works with P7. Rob
