Okay, just ran into a situation today with a presentation that *should* have been a no-brainer....
 
Here's the gist: we developed a 20+ slide presenation, but we used branching to custom-build interactivity AND navigation in a course.  The branching was created by simply hiding slides in PowerPoint in an attempt to introduce some basic functionality...you know the kind....click an object, move to a hidden slide....click another object...move to another slide, and so on.
 
The Quiz Manager was used to set up minimal SCORM information and through the use of the QM, we had the presentation track slide views...nothing more.  No question slides were used, so it was pretty much an easy kill.  Or so we thought.
 
The problem?
 
When reporting slide views, we just found out that Docent (our internal LMS) consistently came back with a status of incomplete!  Since it was possible that a learner may not "hit" every hidden slide, then Docent reported that as an incomplete viewing of the course.  DUH!
 
The fix?
 
Well, we simply set the completion percentage accordingly.  In our case, with 20 total slides, 5 of which were hidden, that meant we had to target an 80% view rate for the course.  Republished the deck, posted to the LMS and fired away!
